Disney’s beloved characters take to the ice at the Arena

The largest-ever cast of Disney characters — 65 total — will come together for nine upcoming shows at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, and there’s one thing these characters will all have in common in addition to being Disney — they’ll be wearing ice skates.

Disney on Ice celebrates “100 Years of Magic” is bringing all the beloved Disney characters kids and adults have come to love — Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio and many of the Disney princesses will will be featured in this skating spectacular alongside characters from the films “The Lion King,” “Mulan,” “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles” and “Toy Story.”

Conor Wagar who skates as Woody in the Toy Story trio with Buzz and Jessie said audiences will love the show.

"Since we have a lot of characters, we have a lot of story lines,” he said.

Highlight of the show include Pinocchio, Mulan and Beauty and the Beast. There’s also a segment in which all the princesses and princes skate together.

• 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17

• 7 p.m. Saturday, May 17

• 1 p.m. Sunday, May 18

• 5 p.m. Sunday, May 18
